Construction Begins on Shahr-e Aftab's Specialized Electric Vehicle Center

In late February 2026, construction began on Shahr-e Aftab's specialized electric vehicle center.

Mohammad Mahdi Salari said the plan goes beyond a charging station: a complex including fast charging, after-sales services, a car wash, amenities, and offices for EV companies is planned in three phases.

He named power supply as the project's main initial challenge and pointed to the future use of solar energy.
